Maggie Lucas

Physiotherapist

About

Growing up in Colac, Maggie was always involved in sport, playing netball, running, and spending time in the gym. Like many active people, she experienced her fair share of sporting injuries, which led to many visits to physiotherapists throughout her younger years. These experiences, combined with her passion for helping others, inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy.

Today, Maggie continues to enjoy an active lifestyle through strength training, Pilates, and running. Outside of the clinic, she loves exploring local cafés in search of a great coffee and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Experience

Maggie began her career in allied health in 2022 after completing her Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. She then worked as an Allied Health Assistant at her local physiotherapy clinic while completing her studies, gaining valuable insight into patient care and rehabilitation. In the same year, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy). In 2023, Maggie relocated to Brisbane to undertake her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2025. Following her studies, she worked in a private practice on the Gold Coast, further developing her clinical skills and experience in supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey, before returning to Geelong to continue her career.
