Dana Crameri

About

Growing up in Geelong and the Surf Coast, Dana enjoyed an active upbringing including swimming, surfing, netball, surf lifesaving and snowboarding. These days, outside the clinic Dana prioritises time with friends, family and her two dogs. She currently enjoys the gym, surfing and is trying to become a runner. 

 

Experience

Dana obtained a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University in Ballarat. She was awarded the Australian Physiotherapy Association Academic Excellence Award for achieving the highest academic grades in her year level. Dana is also an exercise scientist having completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science at Deakin University. During this, she commenced an internship with Geelong Falcons working with elite junior footballers throughout the 2017 TAC Premiership season. These experiences have developed a strong skill set in strength and conditioning, rehab programming and sports performance. Danahas also worked with Torquay and Modewarre Football Clubs in both Men’s and Women’s Senior teams.

 

With this knowledge Dana can guide all levels of athletes and abilities from national gymnasts, weekend warrior runners, and people just starting their health and fitness journeys. Dana believes that movement is essential for our physical and mental wellbeing, and endeavours to help all her patients move and feel better.

Across Dana’s physiotherapy career, she has experience helping a range of people including post-surgical rehab, musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, neurological conditions, and people living with disabilities. Dana has excellent results helping people get back to what they love to do. Dana will work with you to develop a wholistic management plan and uses movement as an active treatment to help you recover.
