Meet your Physio
Laura Stacey
Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor
About
Despite having grown up in Melbourne, Germany and China, Laura’s roots will always be somewhere that involves sand between her toes and waves to catch. After completing her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, it was a no brainer to make the permanent move to her childhood holiday paradise, otherwise known as Torquay. When not working, you’ll find Laura swimming, surfing, hiking or avoiding a house fire with her experimental baking.
Experience
Growing up a lover of all sports, Laura’s passion for Physiotherapy was ignited after a running injury of her own. Upon deciding to study Physiotherapy, Laura spent time shadowing various clinics as well as working as a Sports Trainer at the Port Melbourne VFL Club before commencing her studies. With her background of running training, Laura has experience creating general exercise programs as well as a passion for Clinical Pilates and Hydrotherapy.
